How many times have you thought, “If we could just have one night out without the kids, this vacation would be perfect!” Orlando makes that dream a reality!
Before considering hiring a babysitting service, make sure the sitting service or program is vetted and has a good reputation. According to Cheryl, owner of Sunshine Babysitting, who provides quality in room babysitters for all the resort hotels, the following are questions should be answered prior to hiring anyone.
1. Look up the company in the Better Business Bureau.
2. If you contact a hotel for information who does not enthusiastically endorse a company your considering, take into account that they may only refer a company who will pay a referral fee and/or is bound to a contract not to refer anyone else. The practice of accepting referral fees is frowned upon by most 5 star hotels but it does happen with or without the hotel managers knowledge. Some hotels refer guests to a guest service company. Cheryl believes that all guest services only refers companies who they have a contract to pay referral fees with.
3. Ask the childcare company if sitters have criminal back ground checks.
4. If you decide to hire a company, request a telephone interview with the caregiver. Ask questions about her qualifications and kind of activities she plans to bring.
Call Cheryl any time day or night for a fully checked babysitter within as little as 2 hours notice 407-421-6505.
